SCORE, Counselor�s to America�s Small Business is one of the oldest non-profit organizations with a mission to help small businesses succeed. Celebrating their 40thAnniversary, they have, to date, served over 6 Million people nationally. They help small businesses succeed by educating, counseling and mentoring budding entrepreneurs. They have a well-stocked library with plans for many businesses. Their volunteers are real world professionals who donate their services, so SCORE can provide counseling and mentoring free of charge. There is a small fee for seminars and workshops to cover the cost of their workshops. A resource partner for the SBA: SCORE works very closely with SBA and major Banks to help entrepreneurs get necessary funding to start their business.
